I like to make mini-albums. I purchased a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas this year (one of those "to me, from me" gifts), and have been accumulating cut files for it. One of the companies I like to purchase from is Lettering Delights (LD). I already have a TON of their designs, but of course not exactly what I was looking for. So I went to their website and purchased their Eeieeio farm set. I used the barn image to cut out the pages from heavy cardstock on my Cameo, and then used patterned paper from Basic Grey called Shine On to cut the barn pages out again. I attached these to the cardstock with my ATG gun. I then proceeded to cut out different animals from the LD cut set and assemble them. I wanted to make this book a "touchy feely" type book for Will, so on all the animals, I chose areas to cut out of felt. I cut those sections out of freezer paper (8 1/2 x 11" sheets) with my Cameo, then ironed them onto Papertrey Ink felt, then cut them out and attached them in the appropriate spots on each animal. I also did print and cuts of all the animal sounds, as well as the names of the animals. I added cork decorations and other embellishments to each page for additional touch.
Here are pictures of the album. It was alot of work, but I think this gift will be remembered down through the years.
The farmer's jeans are made from scraps of his Grandaddy's jeans. :)
The back of the album is covered with paper printed out from the LD cut file bundle.
Thanks for looking! Susan :)
