Papertrey May Blog Hop Challenge
Hello! I have a project to share using the Papertrey Blog Hop Challenge colors today. The challenge is to create a project using Aqua and Melon. Here is our inspiration photo from Nicole's blog:
I made a coin purse using Aqua Mist felt and Melon Berry Felt.
The base of the coin purse was cut from Aqua Mist felt. I cut Melon Berry felt with the Bootie Detail Die for the spatted bow as a background for an initial. I also cut Melon Berry felt for the pocket on the back of the coin purse. I did a quick little embroidery on the flap of the pocket. I used DMC floss #353 and 993 as well as DMC white pearl cotton, size 8.
Have you made any coin purses with Erin's Coin Purse dies? I just received them today and couldn't wait to make one! I won't keep you any longer, so you can Hop around and see all the wonderful creations everyone has made. Thanks for leaving a comment - I really appreciate each one. Susan
