Waltzingmouse Pajama Party Challenge #2

Hello! I am staying up late to play at the WMS Pajama Party tonight! The second challenge is Wrap It Up Warm - to make a gift bag or box with a cozy feel. I have had several small Pringles cans sitting around, just waiting to find a use for. My husband takes one each day in his lunch, so they are accumulating quickly! I thought this would be great container for some Christmas candy to give as a gift for neighbors. With the plastic lid, it would stay fresh. So I wrapped the can with some kraft paper stamped with the stitched quilt block from Secret Santa in red. I stamp a couple of the sentiments from the same set along the top and bottom. I also cut a circle with my circle Nestabilities and stamped it with Elf Approval stamp for the lid.  I think the kraft paper paired with the stitched block looks very warm and cozy!

Can't wait to see what others come up with! Thanks for stopping by!

Starting on my Christmas tags...

Hello! I've been working on making my tags for Christmas presents lately and thought I would share with you what I've done so far. I started out by die cutting a bunch of tags from PTI kraft cardstock using the Tag Sale dies from Papertrey. Then I pulled out all my Christmas stamp sets from Papertrey and WaltzingMouse and just started making tags. These are all mostly pretty one dimensional. My next set of tags will have some more dimension - more die cuts, felt, etc. But here is the batch I've finished so far.
This one uses WMS "Nutcracker Sweet".
This one uses PTI "Love Live Here Holiday"
This one uses WMS "Big Blooms Poinsettia"
This one uses PTI "Love Lives Here Holiday"
This one uses PTI "Wreath for all Seasons"
And these use PTI "Winter Snow Globe"
Thanks for looking!

Tags for spring

Wow! It's been quite a while since I've updated my blog! Sorry about that - the holidays just got away from me. Since Christmas, I have begun painting the inside of our house. That's taken up alot of time too. But I've had time to craft in the evening - just haven't taken the time to photograph the cards until now.

So here are some tags I've made for spring. I have collected most of the Papertrey Flower Fusion sets, but have had a hard time coming up with ways to use them on cards. I noticed a tag on Melissa Bickford's blog here  using the flowers on tags. They are the perfect size for the Tag Sale dies by Papertrey. I always like to have some tags on hand to include with stamp sets I sell, or to use on packages. So I went to work and created a bunch of them. I just love the new FF#12 plaid flower top, and I paired it with the plaid leaves from Flower Fusion #6. And then I cut a bunch of tags and flower tops from different spring colored cardstock and went to town. Here's what I came up with:

I used Tag Sale Dies 1, 2 & 3, PTI cardstock in spring rain, spring moss, and harvest gold, various Flower Fusion sets, Versamagic Tea Leaves & Ocean Depth ink, PTI Canyon Clay, Spring Moss inks, misc pearls and buttons.  It's nice to have a stash ready! Thanks for looking!
