Sadly, my mom passed away almost 7 years ago (31 days after my dad passed away), so I really don't make Mother's Day cards anymore. But I appreciate all my mom did for me, and I'd like to include this card in one of the mini albums I'm in the process of making about her.
I decided to try out some watercoloring on this card. I used some wonderful watercolor paper I received from a friend. I used Antique Linen Distress ink to initially stamp the flowers, and then picked up various PTI purples and greens with my waterbrush to loosely paint in the flowers, leaves and stems. When I had finished adding color, I spritzed water over the whole thing and let the colors blend. I like the softness of the finished bouquet!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope your day is blessed!
