Hello! I had fun participating in the Monday with Melis (Melissa Phillips on the Papertrey Team) today. Her challenge was to create a card with a birthday theme, using a heart, a background stamp, scallops, and buttons. I seem to be in the baby card mode lately, with a little 7 month granddaughter and another grandchild on the way, so I created this card for a child's birth-day - as a congratulations card for the new parents. I used the Background Basics Twinkle set on the top half of the card, the heart border die and Aqua Mist felt, antique buttons from my stash, and the scalloped border dies (small and medium) with felt for the rosettes. I also used the Filigree border die, the Sending you die, Inside Out Baby sentiments stamp set, PTI Aqua Mist cardstock, Versacolor "Celadon" ink, and some lace on this card. I had to split the sentiment line "The Greatest of Gifts" into two lines by selective inking in order to get it to fit on the Sending You die. Hope you enjoy!

Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary contests - Day 9 - Card #1
Hello! I'm back again with a card for Day nine of Papertrey's 5th Anniversary contest. You can read about the contest over on Nicole's blog here. The challenge today was to create a card using leaves and butterflies, in honor of two new sets being previewed today.
Here is my card for the challenge:
I used Turning a New Leaf and Love Lives Here stamp sets, Spring Moss and Aqua Mist inks, sweet blush cardstock, and cream, raspberry fizz and aqua mist felt for the butterflies. Also put a snippet of the heart border at the bottom. All PTI supplies. Hope you enjoy!

Papertrey 5th Anniversary Day Seven - Card #1
Hello! Back again with a card for the contest Nicole Heady has running over here on her blog for the Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary festivities. The challenge was to make a card using hearts. That one was easy, as I am in the middle of making Valentines for my family. This one holds a special place in my heart - it's a Valentine for my first grandchild - little 5 month old Chloe. It's my favorite of all the valentines I've made.
I used Quilter's Additions for the sentiment on the right, Tag-It's #11 for the sentiment on the left, and one of the sentiments from Tiny Treats Valentine for the faux ribbon. Also used the Rosey Posey set. I used the heart border die and one of the Fillable Frames dies. Thanks for looking!
