Hello! Today is all about interactive cards over at Papertrey Ink. You can read about all the new products that will be available tomorrow here on Nicole's blog. Today's contest was to make an interactive card. I've only done this once - and it was with SU stamps. So I pulled out the card, and made a new one using Papertrey products. I used the All About You stamp set, Simply Chartreuse cardstock, copic markers, and Memento ink. Here's my card before it is opened:And then when it is stretched open, two little things pop up from inside.
Hope you enjoy it!

Make It Monday #53 Creative Coasters
Wow! It's been such a full 9 days during the Papertrey anniversary celebrations! I don't think I've posted this much on my blog ever. Today's Make It Monday video, which you can see here, was all about using PTI coasters in a creative way. One of the things I love to do with the coasters is to make little mini books. I made one of my granddaughter a couple months ago using the full size of the coasters. Today, I thought I'd make up a little one of her using the button card size for the book. Little babies change so fast - I need to do one of these every couple months. So I used the coasters to cut out the button cards for the pages, and used the letter dies to cut out the words on the front of the book. I need to work on how to glitter the letters better - I wasn't so pleased with the way they came out. But I'll work on that in another book. I discovered it's GREAT to have the number and letter dies and have a constant source for chipboard letters! So here are some peeks of my little booklet. Hope you enjoy!

Papertrey 5th Anniversary Day Seven - Card #1
Hello! Back again with a card for the contest Nicole Heady has running over here on her blog for the Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary festivities. The challenge was to make a card using hearts. That one was easy, as I am in the middle of making Valentines for my family. This one holds a special place in my heart - it's a Valentine for my first grandchild - little 5 month old Chloe. It's my favorite of all the valentines I've made.
I used Quilter's Additions for the sentiment on the right, Tag-It's #11 for the sentiment on the left, and one of the sentiments from Tiny Treats Valentine for the faux ribbon. Also used the Rosey Posey set. I used the heart border die and one of the Fillable Frames dies. Thanks for looking!

I used Papertrey Berry sorbet cardstock and ink, rasberry fizz ink and cardstock, the Birthday By the Numbers stamp set, the Limitless Layers dies, and versafine onyz black ink. The ribbon is from my stash.
