Papertrey Anniversary Day Two - Card #1

Hello again! It's going to be a busy blogging week with all the contests going on over at Papertrey Ink for their fifth anniversary. Today, on day two, each of the stamp designers has contributed a freebie little image for us to play with. We were able to print out a file of all the images, and encouraged to create a card or project using one or more of them for the challenge. It's another great prize too - each of the designers picked their favorite stamp set and the prize is all the ones they chose! So hop on over to Nicole Heady's blog here to get all the details.

I chose to work with Beth Silaika's cute little bee image. Immediately, the hexagons from Rosey Posey came to mind for the background. I used the 1 3/4" Limitless Layers to mat the little bee image, stamped the hexagons onto a lemon tart cardstock background, added little blings to the center of the hexagons, and put some patterned paper from October Afternoon's Rocket Age on the bottom. Found a really great coordinating ribbon from my stash (Michael's $1 bin). I just love how it turned out! Thanks for looking!
