Coin Purse Box

Hello! I wanted to share a cute cute cute little box made with the Papertrey Coin Purse Die and an inside box designed by Betsy Veldman. You can read about her box here and dowload the free inside box shape. This box turned out so cute! Did I already say that??? Anyway - here is mine. It easily fits 4 Ghirardelli chocolates! I was hoping it would fit Hersheys Hugs, but they are just a wee bit too tall.

Hope you can make one too - they are so cute!!!

Edited to add: I really wanted to make a box tall enough to fit Hershey Kisses. I played around with the measurements and finally came up with one that works. Cut box 6" x 7 1/4". Cut corners out, cut slits in side (as per Betsy's diagram), score at 3/4" and 1 3/4" on all sides. Fold inward to make box and secure with Score Tape. Score Coin Purse die 3" in from each side. This gives you a box 1" tall. I also added a 3" tab to keep the box shut. Score it at 1" and 2". I used a little bit of double-sided removable tape on the top to keep it shut. Patterned paper is Graphic 45 Secret Garden for top two, and PTI Bitty Dot for third one.

Thanks for stopping by!
