Guiding Light and Good Times cards

Hello! I am going to try to do some catch up the next few days to post most of the cards I've been working on over the summer. Hope you can check in every couple days and check them out. :)

First up is Papertrey's "Guiding Light" and "Light of Life" sets. I just LOVE these sets! I find I can use them for encouragement, for masculine cards, for sympathy cards and more. I just love the color scheme of blue, red, black and white. One of the groups of people I sell cards to is some of the ladies at church. Scripture on cards always is great for them (and me too!).
So here are a few I've made with these sets:
Love using the PTI coverplate: Waves. The Light beams are from the Blue Skies set.
Smooshed watercolor background, coverplate: Waves using vellum.
Coverplate: Waves again. Love this card for a sympathy card.

Second up are a couple cards made using the PTI set "Good Times". I stamped it in two different colorways.
I embossed the confetti and sentiments on this one using WOW embossing powder, and then stamped again using Spring Moss and Limeade inks to create shadows.
I stamped the confetti in Berry Sorbet and Harvest Gold inks and then cut out the diecut a few times and stacked them together for the "Celebrate" portion of the sentiment. I love this set and how easy it is to put together a birthday card!

Be back tomorrow with more cards! Enjoy your day!

  2. Your lighthouse cards are lovely; I especially like the waves in the third one, so clever. Your 'celebrate' cards are vibrant and pretty too.
