One Big Happy

Hello! I decided to make a few cards using Papertrey's One Big Happy Stamp set, which was free with a $100 order in December. This little stamp set (and matching dies!) packs a Big punch! As I was setting up my 2016 planner and writing down the year's birthdays, I realized that I need to start building up my birthday card stash. I like Jennifer McGuire's goal this year to make more than one of each card. This is especially easy with the Misti. By the way, I am so excited that My Sweet Petunia has come out with a smaller version of the Misti (mine is already on preorder!). Sometimes I find it difficult to clear off enough of my desk to accommodate the regular sized Misti opened. So this smaller size will make that easier.
Anyway, back to my birthday cards...
I die cut happy out of the card center once I had stamped the flowers. I then diecut another happy out of whte cardstock and glued the two together. Then they are glued back into the diecut space on the card. This is one of my favorite techniques. It's one of those "how did she do that" techniques for non-cardmakers. :)

Glittered up the word happy with my Wink of Stella clear pen.
And made three in a row with my Misti! So much fun! Hope you enjoyed them!

  1. This is beautiful Susan! Love the stamped happy!
I buy my felt from "The Fet Pod" online etsy! It's just the same as Papertrey Ink even comes in rolls and tons of colors. You will love it and the price is maybe even a little better .
