PTI Make It Monday #106 - Two-toned stamped flowers

Hello! I am participating in Papertrey's Make It Monday this week. Melissa Phillips demonstrated how to make a card using two-toned flowers. I just love anything Melissa makes, so I thought I'd give this a try. The one trouble I had with this technique was that I got a straight line down the middle of a couple of my flowers. I was hoping the graduation would be more subtle, but I guess maybe practice would make it better. I used Botanical Silhouettes for my flower stamps, inking 1/3 with Sweet Blush, 1/3 with Hibiscus Burst, and 1/3 with Pure Poppy. I guess technically, that's a three-toned flower isn't it? The stems are inked in Limeade Ice and Simply Chartreuse. I also inked the sentiment in all three colors to carry on the theme. When I look at this post, the Sweet Blush ink looks like kraft - I guess that's due to the lighting. It's much prettier in person. :) Thanks for the new technique Melissa!
Hope you enjoy it!
